How to replace the positive battery cable on 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500?

The first step to replace the positive Battery Cable requires disconnecting the negative Battery Cable while unsnapping the positive Battery Cable cap. Screw off the positive Battery Cable bolt while you remove its cable from the battery. The next operation involves the underhood bussed electrical center where technicians must loosen the positive cable bolt but need to notice that the bolt stays attached to the Battery Cable. You should first remove the positive Battery Cable from the junction block after opening its snap cover. The Battery Cable bracket bolt and bracket need removal from the Power Steering Pump before raising and supporting the vehicle. Start with removing the negative cable from the battery channel then moving to the Battery Cable channel bolts before taking out the positive cable from the channel. Begin the process by unfastening the starter lead nut and the positive cable from the starter unit. Detach the positive cable from the clip attached to the Oil Pan. You can start the installation process by fitting the positive cable to its clip on the Oil Pan then connecting the positive cable to the starter.
