How to replace the muffler on 2005 Chevrolet SSR?

In order to change the muffler, take off the right rear tire, stabilizer link and the rear axle brace. Position under the rear axle, loosen the shock absorber bolt and drop the axle to extract coil spring. Disconnect the exhaust pipe, and disconnect the muffler. Installation requires installation of the muffler, retaining nuts, and reconnection of parts.
