How to replace the rear brake line on disc brakes on 2005 Chevrolet Venture?

First, you need to lift up and support the vehicle by removing the tire and wheel assembly to replace the rear brake hose using disc brake. Remove all the dirt and alien matter from the brake hose and brake pipe fitting, and later install a rubber cap or plug into the exposed brake pipe fitting end to ward off any possible brake fluid leakage and contamination. A back up wrench must be used on the hose fitting, and the brake pipe fitting end from the brake hose must be capped or plugged. Make sure that you do not bend your brake pipe or bracket. Unclamp the brake hose retainer clip from the brake hose mounting bracket, then unclasp brake hose from the bracket and pull off brake hose bolt from brake caliper before extracting the brake hose from brake caliper. Get rid of the two copper brake hose gaskets, which might be stuck on the caliper or hose end, and shove a rubber plug in the brake hose bolt hole on the caliper to keep fluid from dripping out. For installation,detach the rubber plug from the caliper, making sure to use a new copper brake hose gaskets. Prepare the brake hose bolt and introduce the new gaskets to the brake hose and fix the bolt to the brake caliper by working it to 43 nm (32 ft. Lbs.). Make sure the brake hose is not twisted or kinked, putting the hose in alignment with the notch in the bracket with the stripe on the hose. Connect the brake hose on to the bracket and fix it with the retainer clip . Remove the rubbercap or plug from brake pipe fitting end, join the brake pipe bit to brake hose using back up wrench tighten brake pipe bit to 21 nm(15 ft. Lbs). Lastly, bleed the brake system, put back the tire and wheel assembly, and take down the vehicle.
