    Q:
How to Replace a Rear Brake Line with Rear Drum Brakes on Chevrolet Venture? Posted by Customer
    A:
Before beginning work on the brake hose you must lift and stabilize the vehicle to create a safe environment. Use a proper cleaning tool to remove all contaminated matter from the brake hose connections. Unthread the brake pipes from the brake hose and remove the bracket retainers to take out the hose from the mounting points. Before installing the new hose make sure no bends affect its smooth path through the brackets. Insert the hose fitting into the bracket notch and put the brake hose on the installation position. Connect the brake hose retaining system to its hardware and add the brake pipes to the hose by tightening both ends up to 21Nm(15ft.lb). Do not drive the vehicle before getting a strong brake response because brake line air creates risk of losing brakes and getting hurt. Lower the vehicle after completing hydraulic brake system bleeding.
