When the engine is hot start by turning the Spark Plug only slightly and clean around the plug base before taking the plug out. Ozo the j 22794 Spark Plug port adapter on the Spark Plug port before using compressed air to maintain valve position. Place the j 38606 valve spring compressor (J 38606) tool on the valve spring and pressurize it to compress the spring coils. Look for valve spring problems while taking apart the valve components. Replace both the key and cap when necessary before continuing. Set the new Valve Stem Oil Seal/spring seat over the valve guide boss employing a proper driver after removing its spring seal and Valve Stem Oil Seal. Place the valve spring and valve cap after using the j 38606 to compress the spring. Press the valve keys in place with grease when needed and loosen the valve spring using j 38606 until the keys settle correctly.
