How to replace the hood latch on 2005 GMC Savana 2500?

In order to change the hood latch, lift and stabilize the hood, and indicate where the latch is, and unscrew the connecting bolts. Disconnect the hood release cable after which it is attached to the new latch. Install the latch, place it on the marks, and make any necessary adjustments and install the bolts and then close the hood.
