How to replace the primary cam gear and timing chain on 2006 Buick LaCrosse?

Remember to first remove the spark plugs and remove the engine front cover before changing the timing chain and sprockets. Follow this by unbolting the right bank secondary camshaft timing chain, guide, and its tensioner, then the shoe. After that, take the Timing Chain Tensioner, upper guide, and the primary camshaft timing chain out. Start at the beginning with the primary camshaft timing chain, then go on to the primary upper guide, and then the Timing Chain Tensioner. Then, secure the secondary camshaft timing chain on the right bank, after that fix its guide and shoe in place, and finish by putting on the right bank secondary camshaft Timing Chain Tensioner. Finish the process by putting the spark plugs and the engine front cover back in place.
