Then remove the nut and bolt which fastens the trailing arm to its bracket before unscrewing the trailing arm . During installation the trailing arm bracket must be connected with the trailing arm while strictly following the Service Precautions instructions on fasteners. Tighten the bolt and nut to 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.) after they are mounted to the trailing arm and the trailing arm bracket. Connect the trailing arm to the knuckle through the bolt and nut before tightening the nut to 240 Nm (177 ft. lbs.). Finally, lower the vehicle.
