How to replace the negative battery cable on 2006 Buick Lucerne?

In order to disconnect the battery negative cable, first, cut off the negative Battery Cable coming from the road whip and then, lastly remove the body harness electrical connector from the negative battery electrical connector as well as the battery current sensor. Then, take off the negative Battery Cable ground bolt, and the negative Battery Cable as well. When installing, have the cable eyelet resting with the flat part down and the crimped end up, then cover the hole in your Floor Pan with the eyelet. Connect and tighten the negative Battery Cable ground bolt to 36 n.m (27 lb ft). Next, join the body harness electrical connector to the battery current sensor, joining it to the negative Battery Cable electrical connector, then reconnecting the negative Battery Cable. Always use cables that are of the same type, diameter, and length as the original cables and cause the replacement cable to follow the same route as the original cable.
