First remove the rivets before you can disconnect the heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) clips from the heat shield which can then be fully removed. Lower the vehicle after inserting the rivets through the heat shield which you need to raise first to connect the ho2s clips before positioning it in front of the floor panel.
