How to replace the front door window regulator on 2006 Buick Rendezvous?

Start the front door Window Regulator replacement by taking out the front door trim panel. The water deflector should be removed following the water deflector. Secure the window in an upward position by applying tape to its surface that rests against the window frame after breaking its connection with the Window Regulator carrier plate. To remove the front Window Regulator start by disconnecting the electrical connector from the motor followed by unscrewing two bolts. The removal process requires lifting the regulator through the access hole from the inner door panel using the key slots. To install the front Window Regulator system fit the bolts of the front regulator halfway through the rear motor and rail before placing the front regulator rail and motor through the rear access hole. Replace the front Window Regulator by forcing it into key slots where you will thread the bolts to secure the motor and rail then tighten them to 11n.m (97 lb in). The next step includes removing tape while you position the front window to the regulator carrier plate followed by hooking up the window with the plate and connecting the electrical connector to the front Window Regulator motor. Reinstall both the water deflector and the trim panel after installation.
