Move the Catalytic Converter to an open spot while disconnecting any block heater electric components when present. First disconnect the ckp sensor electrical connector followed by removing the ckp sensor bolt and finally removing the ckp sensor from the component. Check the sensor for damage signs when you do not plan to install a new sensor. A clean drop of engine oil should be applied to the o-ring before installation. Replace the o-ring if damaged. Ollapse the Catalytic Converter from the path and detach the electrical connector for the block heater (if present). Then connect the ckp sensor to its bolt and torque it to 11 n.m (97 lb in). Reconnect the block heater electrical connector if present after you install the ckp sensor electrical connector. Then safely place the Catalytic Converter back into position.
