2006 Buick Terraza Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the windshield washer reservoir on 2006 Buick Terraza?
A: Begin by positioning the underhood electrical center and disconnecting the right front diagonal brace from its position. Use protective equipment to detach electrical connections from the washer pumps and the hose connections at both front and rear places. Pull off the engine connectors then unfasten the bolts from the fender flange and wheelhouse inner wall. Use the container to lower it into the engine area while pulling the engineering harness behind to pass over the washer outlet and take off the solvent container. Move the cap and washer pumps front and rear except for the unit with 3 pumps. To install the washer container you need to place new grommets in the wiper washer pumps and then fit the cap, front Washer Pump, and rear Washer Pump if equipped. Push the engine wires to the front while the washer container moves down to the engine area and the electrical harness for the hood settles above the solenoid outlet. Secure the washer container in place at the right front inner fender after fitting its bolts with a torque setting of 6 n.m (53 lb in). First join the washer jumper pipes and wires before putting on the right front diagonal bar and readjusting the electrical box under the hood. Restore the washer container with new washer fluid and check if the wiper and washer systems work as required.
