How to replace the wiper motor on 2006 Buick Terraza?

Get the correct tools by assembling a Wiper Linkage Separator (J 39232) and Installer (J 39529). Start the replacement by taking out the wiper motor module. Free the transmission linkage from the wiper motor crank arm by attaching the Wiper Linkage Separator J 39232. Unscrew and take off the wiper motor crank arm nut and crank arm before removing its screws. Detach the wiper motor from its assembly base. Put the new wiper motor into the module assembly when it is in parked mode. Put the motor into its mounting screws and fasten them at 7 N.m (62 lb in). Place the crank arm over the wiper motor shaft between its two casting dimples and put the pivot nut on before tightening to 10 N.m (89 lb in). You can mount the transmission link to the wiper crank arm using the Wiper Linkage Installer tool code J 39529. Set the wiper module on the lower plenum base and link the electrical connector to the wiper motor before checking the front washer system performance.
