How to replace the Electric Cooling Fan Motor on 2006 Cadillac CTS?

The process of electric cooling Fan Motor replacement begins by removing the cooling fan assembly followed by removal of the Fan Blade retaining nut from the motor so you can detach the Fan Blade from the motor shaft. Take out the motor from its shroud by removing its retaining screws first. The installation procedure includes placing the motor inside the shroud before tightening the cooling Fan Motor retaining screws to 5 nm (44 inch lbs.). To install the Fan Blade onto the motor shaft start by dropping it onto the shaft and fasten the retaining nut with a torque of 7 nm (62 inch lbs.). Reinstallation of the cooling fan assembly completes the installation process.
