How to replace the Electric Cooling Fan Motor on 2007 Cadillac CTS?

The replacement of an electric Fan Motor starts with removing the cooling fan assembly. Start by removing the Fan Blade retaining nut attached to the motor followed by disconnecting the Fan Blade from the motor shaft. First remove the motor retaining screws before taking out the motor from its shroud. The motor installation requires placing it back into position within the shroud where you need to follow the stated fastener notice instructions. Use the retaining screws to secure the cooling Fan Motor before tightening them to 5 n.m (44 lb in). Put the Fan Blade over the motor shaft and rotate the blade until it settles in its position. Afterward put on the Fan Blade retaining nut to the motor before tightening it to 7 n.m (62 lb in) and reattaching the cooling fan assembly pieces.
