How to replace the coolant pipe (LP1, LY7) on 2007 Cadillac CTS?

To substitute the Coolant Pipe (LP1, LY7) one, must first, and firstly, raise the vehicle to support it. Remove the Coolant Pipe to generator bracket bolt and then lower the vehicle. Drain the cooling system using the proper procedures depending on the model. Unplug the radiator outlet hose from the Coolant Pipe and remove the wiring harnesses from the coolant inlet pipe. Next, turn the Coolant Pipe to the thermostat bolt and Coolant Pipe to cylinder head bolt, removing the later. For installation, start by installing the Coolant Pipe and loosely fitting all the Coolant Pipe bolts as per the fastener notice. Mount the Coolant Pipe to the thermostat bolt and tighten to 10 n.m (89 lb in), and mount the Coolant Pipe to the cylinder head bolt and tighten to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Pick up and support the vehicle once more, put on the Coolant Pipe to generator bracket bolt and tighten it to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Connect the return hose from the radiator to the Coolant Pipe, replace the wiring harnesses to the coolant inquiry pipe and top up the cooling system as indicated by the manufacturer.
