How to replace the inlet radiator hose (LP1, LY7) on 2007 Cadillac CTS?

Make sure to drain some coolant from the cooling system as your first step to replace the radiator inlet hose (LP1, LY7). Take off the inlet hose from both the radiator and the engine using the Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185). After you've taken off the old hose, put the new radiator inlet hose into place in the car, making sure the mark is at the top. Using the Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185), fit the hose onto the engine, and after that use Hose Clamp Pliers (J 37097-A) to fit it onto the radiator. Finally, fill the cooling system.
