The first step to replace the radiator outlet hose requires draining the cooling system fluids. The j 38185 (Hose Clamp Pliers) will help release the hose clamp tension to separate the radiator outlet hose from its attachment points at the Thermostat Housing before the engine support bracket. Use the j 38185 once more to loosen the hose clamp tension until you detach the radiator outlet hose from the radiator and pull it out of the vehicle. Before installing the radiator outlet hose to the vehicle soak its inner diameter with clean coolant. You can use j 38185 to release the clamp tension while attaching the radiator outlet hose to the radiator before positioning the clamp properly. Perform the same procedure to achieve clamp security when installing the radiator outlet hose onto the engine support bracket. Finally, fill the cooling system.
