    Q:
How to replace the radiator inlet hose (LY7) radiator hose on Cadillac STS? Posted by Customer
    A:
Draining the coolant is required before beginning inlet Radiator Hose (LY7) replacement. You should disconnect the Radiator inlet hose from the Thermostat Housing through the use of hose clamp pliers (J 38185) before proceeding to remove it from the Radiator once more. The new inlet Radiator Hose installation begins with lubricating its inside diameters using clean coolant before mounting it onto the vehicle. The hose clamp pliers (J 38185) will enable disengaging the hose clamp tension to connect the Radiator inlet hose to the Radiator before setting the clamp back to its original placement. The hose clamp pliers (J 38185) will be used to disengage clamp tension before attaching the Radiator inlet hose to the Thermostat Housing and securing it with the clamp in its natural resting position. Finally, fill the cooling system.
