How to replace the inlet radiator hose (LY7 - Gas, 6 Cylinder, 3.6L, SFI, V6) on 2008 Cadillac SRX?

Starting replacement of the ly7 Radiator inlet hose (Gas, 6 Cylinder, 3.6L, SFI, V6) requires draining coolant with the cooling system draining and filling tool (GE 47716 -Vac N Fill Coolant Refill Tool). Use hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to step away tension from the hose clamp before you take the Radiator inlet hose off from the Thermostat Housing and the Radiator. When replacing the inlet Radiator hose install it on the vehicle while applying clean coolant to both diameters of the hose surfaces before placing them in position. The hose clamp pliers (J 38185) allows you to activate the hose clamp to fasten the Radiator inlet hose to the Radiator before directing the clamp to its original position. The same steps need to be followed for the Radiator inlet hose installation onto the Thermostat Housing before clamping the hose in its original position. The cooling system needs to be filled by utilizing the cooling system draining and filling (GE 47716 -Vac N Fill Coolant Refill Tool).
