    Q:
How to replace the radiator inlet hose (LY7) with a radiator hose on Cadillac SRX? Posted by Customer
    A:
Draining the coolant is the first step when replacing a Radiator inlet hose (LY7). The hose clamp pliers (J 38185) helps loosen hose clamp tension for Radiator inlet hose removal starting at the Thermostat Housing before moving to the Radiator Hose process. The new inlet Radiator Hose installation requires clean coolant application to both inside diameters of hoses before placement and completion of hose clamp tension. The hose clamp pliers (J 38185) enables tension adjustment during Radiator inlet hose installation to the Radiator followed by positioning the clamp in its natural place. The hose clamp pliers (J 38185) should be used to install the Radiator inlet hose onto the Thermostat Housing with the clamp placed back to its original position. Finally, fill the cooling system.
