How to replace the outlet radiator hose (LY7) on 2005 Cadillac SRX?

The coolant drainage operation is necessary before radiator outlet hose (LY7) replacement. You need hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to disengage the tension of the hose clamp before removing the radiator outlet hose from the Thermostat Housing. The radiator outlet hose needs to be detached first from the engine support bracket while also removing the air cleaner intake duct. Unwind the tension from the hose clamp using hose clamp pliers (J 38185) in order to detach the radiator outlet hose from its position on the radiator and afterward take the hose outside the vehicle for replacement. The installation process requires users to apply clean coolant lubrication to both hose inner diameters before reinstalling the radiator outlet hose into the vehicle. The hose clamp pliers (J 38185) will help to loosen the hose clamp tension so you can attach the radiator outlet hose on the radiator while placing the clamp in its original spot. Follow the same installation process for the Thermostat Housing and place the clamp in its factory settings. After installing the radiator outlet hose to the engine support bracket users must reinstall the radiator inlet hose followed by filling the cooling system.
