How to replace the radiator inlet hose (LY7) radiator hose on 2006 Cadillac SRX?

The first step to replace the Radiator inlet hose (LY7) demands draining the coolant from the system. The hose clamp pliers (J38185) remove the tension on hose clamps from the Thermostat Housing as well as the Radiator to detach both Radiator inlet hoses. Install the new inlet Radiator Hose on the vehicle after taking out its existing version. Clean coolant must coat the inner diameters of both hoses before their installation begins. Clamp tension on the hose clamp pliers (J38185), mount the Radiator inlet hose to its correct place on the Radiator before securing the clamp into its original position. Use the hose clamp pliers (J38185) to disengage tension on the clamp and attach the Radiator inlet hose onto the Thermostat Housing. Once connected, put the clamp into its regular position. Finally, fill the cooling system.
