How to replace the outlet radiator hose (LY7) (3.6L) on 2009 Cadillac STS?

The first step for replacing the radiator outlet hose (LY7) (3.6L) includes draining coolant through cooling system draining and filling (GE 47716). Using the hose clamp pliers (J 38185) we can remove the radiator outlet hose from the Thermostat Housing after removing the radiator inlet hose. Open the access to the radiator outlet hose by removing it from the engine support bracket before removing the air cleaner intake duct. Use hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to free the radiator outlet hose clamp tension before removing the hose from the Thermostat Housing then removing the hose from the vehicle. Install the radiator outlet hose into the vehicle by first applying coolant lubrication to both hose inner diameters. Hose clamp pliers (J 38185) should be used to remove tension from the clamp before attaching the radiator outlet hose to the radiator. Position the clamp as it was when you removed it. After securing the housing clamp replace it on its original position. The radiator outlet hose must be set into the engine support bracket while reinstalling the radiator inlet hose followed by proper use of the cooling system draining and filling (GE 47716) to fill the cooling system.
