How to replace the water pump (LF1/LLT) (3.6L) on 2009 Cadillac STS?

Before starting Water Pump (LF1/LLT) (3.6L) replacement you need to drain the cooling system. Begin procedure by taking off the generator Drive Belt first. For secure maintenance of the Water Pump Pulley place it on the en 46104 tool. Next take out Water Pump Pulley bolts and pulley assembly. Afterward disconnect the Water Pump bolts and take out the pump while getting rid of the aged Water Pump seal. Thoroughly prepare both Water Pump surfaces before putting on the new Water Pump seal and Water Pump. Install Water Pump bolts first by tightening them to 10 nm (89 lb in). Afterwards include the Water Pump Pulley with its bolts which require a torque of 12 nm (106 lb in) while retaining the Water Pump Pulley with the en 46104 tool. Place the generator Drive Belt back on and refill the cooling system.
