How to replace the wiper motor (LHD) on 2006 Cadillac CTS?

Start by taking off the wiper transmission first to reach the wiper motor on the left side. You need to insert the Wiper Linkage Separator into the wiper motor crank arm and wiper motor links to disconnect the drive sections. Loosen the three screws which fasten both the wiper motor and wiper motor module. Then remove the wiper motor from its location. Place the new wiper unit on the wiper motor module assembly and attach it with screws. Tighten each screw to 10 N.m (89 lb in). You should put drive links on the wiper motor crank arm using the Wiper Linkage Installer (J 39529). Put back the wiper transmission unit and test the wiper system to verify that it works correctly.
