  A: You must open the hood then take away the Hood Latch to start your Hood Cable replacement. The first step includes detaching the hood release cable from the Hood Latch then stringing it with cord to aid transmission through the engine space. First disconnect the front wheelhouse liner and then expose the hood release cable retention clips before uninstalling the fasteners which lock the handle to the vehicle.
