In order to service and repair the ignition lock cylinder, one should turn off the SIR system and take out the ignition lock cylinder, ignition switch, turn signal cancel cam, and steering shaft upper bearing spring. Unscrew the ignition lock cylinder case screws, disconnect the park lock cable assembly and reinstall parts and make sure they are working properly.
