How to replace the pitman arm on 2006 Cadillac Escalade EXT?

To take the place of the Pitman Arm, hoist and hold-up the car, and then disconnect the power steering gear and clamp it in a vise. Dismember the pitman arm with a puller. Install the new pitman arm using a new washer and nut and then replace the power steering gear and ensure that the wheel is straight.
