    A: To repair the Timing Chain and sprockets, first, remove the Oil Pump and turn the crankshafts while the marks on the Crankshaft and the camshaft sprocket are aligned and be cautious not to turn the crankshafts after the Timing Chain is to be removed so as not to damage the piston assemblies or valve. Then, take off the camshaft sprocket bolts, camshaft sprocket, and Timing Chain. Use the j 8433 (Two Jaw Puller), j 41816-2 (Crankshaft End Protector), and j 41558 (Crankshaft Sprocket Remover) to disassemble the Crankshaft sprocket, remove the sprocket, and remove the Crankshaft sprocket key if essential. If necessary, clean and check the Timing Chain and sprockets. For installation, insert key in crank keyway and tap in until both ends are set. Mount the Crankshaft sprocket onto the front edge of the Crankshaft with the key of the Crankshaft aligned with the sprocket key way and mount it on to the front using j 41665 (Crankshaft Balancer and Sprocket Installer) to further fasten sprocket into the Crankshaft flange. Rotate the Crankshaft sprocket until alignment mark is at position 12 o'clock, correct alignment of the camshaft sprocket locating pin with the sprocket alignment hole, the sprocket teeth is in proper contact with the Timing Chain, the alignment marks on the two sprockets is properly aligned camshaft sprocket alignment mark at 6 o'clock mark. Mount the camshaft sprocket and the Timing Chain and correct the camshaft or Crankshaft sprockets so that it coincides with the timing marks. Lastly, bolt on the camshaft sprocket, apply torque of 35 nm (26 f. Lbs), and reinstall the Oil Pump.
