How to replace the ignition lock cylinder on 2006 Cadillac SRX?

In order to change Ignition Lock Cylinder, disconnect the negative battery cable. Attach the ignition switch to start, apply an awl and press the release button, and then to run and remove the cylinder. Insert the battery wire and align the locking tab in the lock module with the cylinder and press it in.
