Measure the volume and dispose of the drained oil collected from the receiver-dryer into an appropriate container. During installation only open the new receiver-dryer cap right before mounting time while you should replace exactly the same amount of oil in the new device that you removed from the old one. The receiver-dryer installation requires users to replace the o-rings in its seal area recess before setting it into the clamp with the connector block retaining bolt tightened to 14 n.m (10 lb ft). Finish the process by installing and tightening the band clamp bolt followed by negative Battery Cable reconnection and a/c system evacuation then recharging.
