How to replace the power steering pump drive belt on 2006 Chevrolet Aveo?

Check the tension on the pump drive belt with Belt Tension Gage (J 23600-B) after reading the Belt Dressing Notice in Service Precautions, before replacing the belt. If the belt tension is outside the range, simply relax the alternator bolt, move the alternator unit until the gage tells you the tension is right, then tighten the bolt. Once the correct tension is reached, tighten the alternator bolt with 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.) of torque and make sure to follow the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
