How to replace the front cup holder in the front floor console on 2006 Chevrolet Equinox?

The replacement of the front Cup Holder in the front floor console requires opening the armrest console then taking out the Cup Holder cover. You should first remove the screws from the Cup Holder track before pulling away both the Cup Holder and track from the console. Put the Cup Holder on the track before you place the track inside the console while making sure to tighten the console track screws to 2.5 n.m (22 lb in). Complete your inspection of the Cup Holder by putting its cover back in place then verify correct operation of the Cup Holder.
