How to replace the liftgate wiper motor on 2006 Chevrolet Equinox?

Before you replace the liftgate Wiper Motor it needs the rear Wiper Arm and liftgate trim panel to be removed. First you need to remove the bolts from the Wiper Motor and glide it out after taking off its pivot shaft from the rear window grommet. Also disconnect the electrical connector. Insert the Wiper Motor into the rear window grommet first then connect its electrical connector before screwing in the Wiper Motor bolts with 7 n.m (62 lb in) torque using the specified fastener guidelines. Place back the liftgate trim and the Wiper Motor module in their proper positions.
