How to replace the rear door hinge on 2006 Chevrolet Equinox?

Start the replacement of the rear door hinge when the ignition is OFF and the key is free of the vehicle to avoid SIR activations that could lead to injury. Use soft marker to mark the hinge spot after which you must support the door. Users must first fully secure the door striker and then remove the door bolts from the hinge one by one and lastly remove the body bolts. Place the hinge at marked locations after which install the hinge to door bolts while tightening them to 25 N.m (18 lb ft). After mounting the hinge on body bolts appear in order to tighten them to 25 N.m (18 lb ft). The door alignment should be checked for correctness during the final assessment.
