How to replace the front suspension sway bar link on 2006 Chevrolet Equinox?

Start by first raising the vehicle and then supporting it before you can remove the tire along with the wheel. Preventing the sway bar link ball stud from turning effectively during the link nut removal process leads to the sequence of removing first the link nut from the strut then the link nut from the bar before extracting the sway bar link. Follow the fastener notice in service precautions along with preventing the sway bar link ball stud from rotation as you join the sway bar link to the strut by applying 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.) torque. Use the same steps to fasten the sway bar link to the stabilizer bar and tighten both nuts to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.). Reinsert the wheel followed by tire installation then lower the vehicle.
