Patience and caution will lead you to swap out the back up lamp switch after separating the left front wheel then unplugging the back up lamp connector. Detach the back up lamp switch assembly while using a socket tool for prevention of switch component damage. During the installation phase use pipe sealant Saturn P/N 21485278 or equivalent to secure the back up lamp switch followed by a 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.) torque setting. Reconnect the back up lamp connector then put the left front wheel back in place.
