How to replace the front door striker on 2006 Chevrolet Impala?

To remove the striker anchor plate on the front door, first of all, take off the door lock pillar trim to access the center pillar and quarter lower trim panel. Mark the striker location, take out the screws, striker, shims and anchor plate. Install the anchor plate, shims and striker by aligning it to the required location.
