How to replace the underhood fuse box on 2006 Chevrolet Impala?

Start replacement of the underhood electrical center or junction block by removing the electrical center cover together with separating the positive Battery Cable from the junction box. First disconnect the fasteners that secure the electrical center board and open its tabs before you can lift it. Proceed by taking out each of the fasteners which hold the electrical center bracket onto the vehicle. Secure the electrical center to the vehicle by using fasteners which should be tightened to 10 n.m (86 lb in) then fasten the electrical center board with 7 n.m (62 lb in) torque setting. The last step involves reattaching the positive Battery Cable followed by installing the electrical center cover.
