How to replace the MAP Sensor on 2006 Chevrolet Impala?

Begin sensor replacement for the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) by removing the engine sight shield. You must disconnect the electrical connector for manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor and extract the MAP Sensor (714) from its Intake Manifold position. You may need to take out the MAP Sensor grommet if required (715). Before installing the MAP Sensor grommet (715) add clean engine oil for lubrication if needed. Reattach the MAP Sensor electrical connector before installing the MAP Sensor (714). Reinstall the engine sight shield as the last step.
