How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 2 on 2006 Chevrolet Impala?

To replace the heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) bank 1 sensor 2 initially lift and mount the vehicle. Remove the cpa retainer and disconnect the bank 2 sensor 2 electrical connector. Then, disconnect the bank 2 sensor 2 off the Catalytic Converter. When installing, use anti-seize compound p/n 12377953 at the threads of old sensor if to reuse it, as it, consisting of liquid graphite and glass beads, makes easier a separation of a sensor. Mount the bank 2 sensor 2 to the Catalytic Converter and tighten it to 42 n.m (31 lb.ft). Following that, plug in the bank 2 sensor 2 electrical connector and install the cpa retainer before you lower the vehicle.
