You should begin by disconnecting the manifold absolute pressure sensor harness connector to change the air filter. Now, loosen the upper air cleaner cover screws, take off the cover, and take out the air filter from the bottom housing. Make sure you look at the filter for dust, dirt, or water, then change it if it's contaminated. Put the air filter into the lower air cleaner housing, and after that, put the upper air cleaner cover back and hold it in place. Turn the air cleaner cover screws to 5 N.m (44 lb in), and after that, attach the mass air flow sensor connector.
