    Q:
How to replace the air filter element on Cadillac DeVille? Posted by Customer
    A:
If replacing the air cleaner, first, it is necessary to remove the mass air flow/intake air temperature sensor replicate by the use of an electrical connection, then, release the clamp between the intake air duct and the Throttle Body by disconnecting intake air from Throttle Body. Next, remove the retainers for the air cleaner cover, remove the air cleaner cover, remove the Air Filter. It is also necessary to check the condition of the air cleaner housing assembly for the damage and replace if needed. For installation, start by installing the new air cleaner and then air cleaner housing cover with the appropriate air cleaner cover retainers then engage. Fit the intake air duct back to the Throttle Body, making sure it is tightened properly to 3 n.m (27 lb in) on the clamp assembly. At last, plug the maf/iat sensor's electrical connection back.

    Q:
How to replace the air filter element on Cadillac Seville? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin air cleaner replacement by removing the screw which holds the resonator to the pcm housing. Disengage the latches on the air cleaner cover then slowly lift the air resonator and cover from the air cleaner housing. Use a screwdriver to disconnect the mass air flow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor electrical connector. Then remove the Air Filter while clearing any debris from the base of the air cleaner. Reconnect the maf/iat sensor electrical connector, slide the new Air Filter into place before you install both the air resonator and cover onto the air cleaner housing making sure all latches snap properly before torquing the screw that attaches the air resonator to the pcm housing.

    Q:
How to service the Air Filter element on Chevrolet Venture? Posted by Customer
    A:
Service of the Air Filter begins by disconnecting the maf sensor electrical connector followed by loosening the air intake duct clamps alongside the maf sensor hose. Before accessing the Air Filter you must remove the air intake duct with maf sensor assembly and unsnap the retaining clamps securing the housing cover. Then remove the air cleaner cover to safely retrieve the filter. A thorough examination of the housing cover and air ducting components and seal assembly must begin. Damage identification leads to required component replacement. First insert the Air Filter carefully into the air cleaner assembly then install the housing cover before tightening the retaining clamps. Duct the air intake assembly back into position while tightening its hose clamps and reattaching the maf sensor electrical connector.
