How to replace the exhaust manifold on a 2.2L engine on 2006 Chevrolet Malibu?

A 2.2l engine requires the first step of Exhaust Manifold replacement to be removal of the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer and separation of the heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) electrical connector but maintain the permanently attached pigtail to prevent sensor harm. Begin by taking away the bolts securing the Exhaust Manifold heat shield and then removing both the shield and intermediate pipe. The Exhaust Manifold assembly should be removed completely from the engine bay together with its gasket after the Exhaust Manifold nuts get discarded. Fit a new Exhaust Manifold Gasket onto the Cylinder Head before installing the Exhaust Manifold/catalytic converter assembly with finger-tight Exhaust Manifold nuts that need to be tightened according to the specified sequence to 14 nm (10 ft. Lbs.). Secure all intermediate pipe and heat shield and Exhaust Manifold heat shield bolts to a torque of 23 nm (17 ft. Lbs.). The ho2s should be installed with 42 nm (31 ft. Lbs.) of torque before connecting its electrical plug and installing its cpa retainer . Begin the vehicle operation and check for any fluid seepage.
