How to replace the wiper arm on 2006 Chevrolet Malibu?

When replacing the Wiper Arm start by putting wiper arms into the park position and lifting the hood. Unplug the washer hose connections at the air inlet grille panel before taking off the Wiper Arm nut finish cap and Wiper Arm nut. Install the Wiper Arm removal tool number j 39637 to take off the Wiper Arm from its shaft location. To set up the Wiper Arm securely start by placing it on the wiper module shaft. Keep the Wiper Arm nut hand-threaded to prevent thread damage during installation. Install the Wiper Arm nut onto the wiper hub by pressing the Wiper Arm on top of its wiper dot then tighten up to 35 n.m (25 lb ft). Check if the Wiper Arm nut finish cap fits properly then connect the hose connectors to the air intake grille. Test the wiper system after that and shut the hood.
