How to replace the wiper motor on 2006 Chevrolet Malibu?

To switch the wiper motor you need to remove wiper arms plus air inlet grille panel and wiper drive system module. Unplug your vehicle with J 39232 Wiper Linkage Separator before loosening both wiper motor bolts. Pull out the wiper drive system module spacer and then extract the wiper motor itself from the module. Put the wiper motor module support bracket onto the wiper motor now. Set the wiper motor onto the wiper drive system module then put the spacer above it before adding the wiper motor bolts and tightening them to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in). Place the wiper transmission links onto the wiper motor crank using Wiper Linkage Installer J 39529 to finish reattaching all parts in their proper position. Complete your check by observing if the washers work correctly.
