How to replace the battery sensor on 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

To install a new battery current sensor, you have to remove the I/P harness connector to the sensor. Unscrew the battery cables, cut the tie straps and tape that attaches the sensor to the cable and slide the sensor off the cable. Install the new sensor, strap it and tape it using new straps and reconnect the cables and harness.
