Take away the front brake caliper while leaving the hydraulic brake hose connected before removing both the brake pads and caliper itself. You should remove both caliper bracket bolts along with the caliper bracket from the assembly. Check if the caliper bracket bolts and knuckle have clean threads and ready for loading before assembly. Threadlocker gm p/n 12345493 (Canada 10953488) goes onto caliper bracket bolt threads before you put the bracket into position and tighten bolt connections to 180 nm (133 ft. Lbs.). Put back the front brake pads and the caliper into position now.
